“A barrel of wine can work more miracles than a church full of saints.”
--Italian proverb
Italy produces more wine than any other country. On our first trip to Italy,
we discovered the incredible quality and vast selection of Italian wines at
reasonable prices. Made without the preponderance of oak used in the hyperbolized
wines of California, Italian wines
allow the flavors of the fruit to shine through and don’t overpower the foods
that they complement so well. Our wine selection represents some of our favorite
Italian wines. They are predominantly wines from small estates, produced in limited
quantities.
Check out our Prosecco from the Veneto, our Pinot Grigio from the Alto-Adige,
our Gavi from Piemonte, our Vermentino from Sardegna, our Chianti and Vino Nobile
di Montepulciano from Tuscany, and more. Our reds are presented here; you can
see our collections of white and
sparkling and dessert wines by following the links below. Salute!
Please remember that we can ship wines only to certain states (see shipping information) and under no circumstances will we sell wine to persons under the age of 21. |
